Cognitive Behavioral Coaching works on changing people's attitudes and behavior by focusing on thoughts, images, beliefs and patterns that are held (a person's cognitive processes) and how these processes relate to the way a person behaves. It offers psycho-social interventions to improve mental health by discovering, challenging and changing unhelpful cognitive distortions and behaviors to improve emotional regulation. The goal is development of personal coping strategies and patterns that target areas for improvement to solve current problems.
Anyone with diagnosed mental health issues, or experiencing more complex chronic issues such as self harm or suicidal thoughts should seek help from a Psychologist or Psychiatrist.
